By downloading, installing, or using SpeedRead ("the app," "we," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service
SpeedRead is a reading speed and comprehension training app that helps you build faster, more effective reading habits through guided sessions and exercises. We may update, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SpeedRead. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement and can form a binding agreement with us.
Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, our systems, or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the app or its infrastructure
- Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the app
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
Subscriptions and Payments
SpeedRead may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If you subscribe:
- Billing: Payments are processed through the App Store (Apple). You agree to Apple's payment terms.
- Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel in your device's subscription settings.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their policies. Contact Apple Support for refunds.
Intellectual Property
SpeedRead and its content (including design, text, training materials, and features) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that SpeedRead will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. SpeedRead is an educational tool, not a substitute for professional educational, medical, or legal advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms in the app or via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
